Forming now in the Omaha Metro area, partnered with the Nebraska Cooperative Development Center

Childcare designed by and for special needs families

We're organizing a parent-led, non-profit cooperative that provides licensed, inclusive child care for school-aged kids with developmental disabilities and high support needs - owned and governed by the families who use it, serving families across the Omaha area.

What we need out of our childcare

We'll bridge the gap between therapies and school through a community-centered approach.

Programs

Professional staff

Co-op model

Stable childcare coverage

Credentialed educators

Parent-led governance

We can structure our programs and our operating hours so that all members have childcare coverage in order to stay fully employed if we choose.

Every staff member will be CPR/First Aid certified, background checked, trained, and experienced working with developmentally disabled children.

Families hold direct voting power on our board, shaping operational decisions, budgets, and the long-term direction of our community.
